Bolt + Hyrax

Prototype in the browser with Bolt.
Audit it with Hyrax.

Bolt.new runs a full Node.js environment in the browser through WebContainers, generating and deploying full-stack apps from a prompt. Hyrax audits the exported codebase and opens verified upgrade PRs the team approves.

bolt → repository → hyrax
01
Build with BoltPrompt Bolt.new for the app and iterate in the browser environment.
02
Export to the repoThe generated project is pushed to GitHub alongside the rest of the codebase.
03
Hyrax auditsHyrax audits the exported code, flags risks, and opens upgrade PRs through 13-step verification.
04
Review and mergeThe team reviews the [Hyrax] PR and merges. Hyrax never merges on its own.

Runs on AWS Bedrock. Code never trained on. 13-step verification. Opens PRs, closes tickets. You approve every merge.

Two roles, one workflow

Bolt builds it. Hyrax makes sure it holds up.

Bolt builds
  • Full-stack generation in a browser-based Node.js environment
  • Real-time build, test, and deploy through WebContainers
  • Prompt to a running app without local setup
  • Token-based pricing: a free tier plus Pro from $25/mo
Hyrax hardens
  • Audits the exported codebase across six categories
  • Reads every file in context, not one generated screen
  • Verifies each change against the test suite across 13 steps
  • Opens a [Hyrax] PR and closes the ticket. The team approves the merge
Why an audit layer

Generated fast still has to ship safe.

Browser-generated full-stack code ships quickly, but speed leaves gaps: unhandled errors, weak input validation, and risky dependencies. Hyrax audits the exported repository in full and resolves what the prompt-and-deploy loop skips.

FAQ

Using Bolt with Hyrax.

Does Hyrax compete with Bolt?

No. Bolt generates and deploys the app; Hyrax audits and hardens the exported codebase. They cover different parts of the same workflow.

Can Hyrax audit a Bolt project?

Yes. Once the Bolt project is exported to a repository, Hyrax audits it across security, correctness, maintainability, performance, architecture, and operations, then opens verified upgrade PRs.

Does Hyrax need the WebContainer environment?

No. Hyrax runs against the exported repository on AWS Bedrock and opens PRs the team approves. It does not depend on the Bolt environment.
